My time at the RSHC was a wonderful respite from my maniacal daily life – walk dog, make breakfast, clean up cat vomit, scarf up breakfast while shoving food into my lunch cooler, hop into clothes, water garden, fight traffic… etc. and it’s only 9am…
I particularly liked the rhythmical daily schedule; soothing and enlivening therapies – color, art, music, massage, baths etc.; tasty healthful food – prepared by someone other than myself; talks & presentations by staff; the afternoon nap and compress – oh sweet sleep!!; the time to take walks and attend cultural activities at UM etc.; the house itself. Opportunity for profound rest.
How to carry on with artistic therapies or obtain benefits after the session ends. I only wish that the session was longer, although that would have been difficult financially and in terms of finding a pet sitter…

There was a good balance between informative presentations at RSHC and the opportunity to attend cultural activities in town.
THE STAFF IS GREAT!!! I felt honored as a complete fourfold human being here. Drs are wonderful – I appreciate the time that Dr. McMullen spent talking to me and his kindness & expertise. The nurse is superb – kind, generous, knowledgeable, caring -THE BEST. Sara is helpful and gracious, patient & talented; the massages were healing and relaxing; the color light therapist’s calm manner is great, the cooks food and enthusiasm are a blessing; the movement therapist is fun & opened new doors re movement and posture.
What was most influential in deciding to attend our session? Strong recommendation by Dr. Sutton combined with what other patients of Dr. Sutton’s said about their experience here. The 10% “early bird” discount was also a factor…
You are providing a much needed service to your patients – the opportunity to be seen as a complete, fourfold human – and to experience healing on every level. THANK YOU!
